I attended ModelMania 2013 in Houston this past weekend. Had a great time. I even had a short list of models I wanted to pick up. Nothing too difficult and not too expensive.
Then the shopping bug hit...
Okay, I needed a Focke Wulf to build alongside the old Monogram one that's awaiting restoration, so... what version? Oh, well. These two will do. I also need a 109 to build alongside the old Monogram version that's awaiting restoration... and that Shiden underneath it has a great price. And I need a Tamiya P-47D. They're priced $25 each, but you'll sell two for $40 bucks? Sold!
What? No Hasegawa Stuka G-2 models? Well, there's this Hobby Craft 87G... I'll get it. Could it be worse than the Monogram G-1?
There's an F-86F Sabre. I was looking for one of those. It's a Revell, but... eh...
There's what I was looking for! $20 for the Eduard F6F-5 Hellcat? Sold! Too bad it's not an F6F-3, but... Wait! You take credit cards?! I'll take the F6F-3 Weekend version! Oh, and the DC-3 Airliner too!
This DC-3 Airliner is 1/90 scale. Box scale I guess... but here's a 1/72nd Italeri. I'll grab that too. Or do I get the 1/48 scale DC-3 Airliner from Monogram or the Pro Modeller PBY-5A. Both are $30... I've always wanted to try the PBY...
How much for the 1/350 Enterprise? Oh, okay. You'll knock 15% off? You take credit cards? *sigh*. Okay, you've got a deal.
Several trips later... Oh, I won a door prize. I'll grab the USAAF Personnel. I can use those.
Luckily, I escaped before any more damage was done. It's a good thing I drive an SUV...
(I'm sure that this doesn't compare to SOME of your own buying sprees.)

PS> All I have to do now is figure out where to store all these!
