Not as good as some but I have a window and CD player so it is better then I used to have. I share the "craft room" with my wife's sewing and craft but since she makes me things I cannot complain. Have a few kits to make but again not as many as some., Will probably take me a year or more to get through these.

Wow!  Those are cool!  And pretty good sizes too!  They had one SW LEGO set at our Wal-Mart (remember, I'm in Vermont).  It was the AT-TE I think.  Oh well, I can always go online and look!  Great LEGO sets!

Thanks for the info!  I'll check Wal-mart tonight.  Taking the kids after I get off work to go get the LEGO movie!  I'm sure they won't mind running down the toy aisle to look at the LEGOs!

LOL!  OOP= pricey!

Eagle90

Here are the pic I promised. I believe the Tie Fighter is still a current Lego Item. The Star Destroyer is OOP.

Still would love to see pics of them.  I am not at all familiar with LEGO stuff, but my nephew is big into them and SW!  Now my daughter is getting into them.  Can you still get these SW LEGO sets?

Eagle90

I'll post some pics when I get home. Yes, you can get SW Lego sets from Walmart or Target. I purchased several out of production sets from ebay. They can get pricy. Sad

hogfanfs, forgot to mention you teased us with a glimpse of a TIE fighter on the last pic!!  Not nice!  Show the SW stuff!  Don't be shy!  Wink

Eagle90

Eagle90, good eye! But, they are Star Wars Lego sets, yes Tie Fighter and Star Destroyer. The only two still intact. My son has been breaking them all down and building whatever interests him at the time.

Hogfanfs - that's a nice clean space you have there.  You're obviously a lot neater than me - look at how organised your stash is!

Great content in that stash too by the way.

Thanks for the comments cml, although, I think the only reason that it is clean is because I haven't built many models from the stash! In the next year, I plan to change that trend.

If you're gonna sell me a bridge Greg, I want lots of C4 also.... I have always wanted to demo a bridge....

Dawg, she has had two other jobs since then. No more movie posters from that source. She also gave me "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy", but I don't have enough room for that one up at the same time.

Stuff that never quite gets put away and adds up over time? Nah, that must be just you, Stik.

If ya believe that, I have a bridge in northern MI I want to sell you.

Wonder how much that "Red Tails" poster will eventually be worth? Your daughter should start collecting movie posters, if she still work at the theater. Might be a small fortune for her one of these days.

Greg, I have moved twice in the recent past, and it is no fun at all. Especially the hobby side of it, although I have gotten pretty good at breaking down and setting up my work area. The breaking down takes longer due to all the small stuff all over my bench that never quite gets put away and adds up over time.

Dawg, my daughter worked at a movie theater when that movie was out. She was constantly bringing home movie posters to decorate her room with, so when "Red Tails" came along, I asked for that poster for my work area. I knew that it would provide the right "atmosphere" for the area. It kind of reminds me of the poster for "Midway" that I had in my room when I was growing up. Oh to find another one of those....

Bubbajoe

not at all....glad you like it. ..one thing ,i have it slightly tilted out at the bottom...maybe an inch to tilt the bottles back .keeps them on the shelf better.i bolted the angle iron together and have plenty of room to expand it as needed

The tilt makes perfect sense. If I get around to making one of those racks (and I do plan on it), I'll have to remember to include a little tilt to it. Thanks for the tip.

Gary

took about a half hour to put it together if that...i used pre cut 3' pieces of angle bracket and small bolts.ratchet set made quick work of it...just figured out how to quote...sheesh

Great-looking room, Baron! I like that easel set-up you git there. That's a great idea! Think I'll have to give that one a try.

Gary Mason

Thanks, Gary!  You probably wouldn't be surprised when I tell you that I salvaged that easel from some family's garbage.  I was driving down the road one day and spotted it.  I stopped and asked if they were throwing it out (obviously, but I respect that it's their property) and if I could take it.  I drive a pickup, so it was no problem to get it home.  I've been meaning to rout out a rabbet below the top and insert a cork strip, but office clamps work pretty well, too.

Yep, moving is no fun at all. I've never done a long distance move. Ok by me if I never do.

Lol! Baron I hear ya. That rack just has my Tamiya's and Vallejo stuff. In the drawers of the desk are my Humbrols & Revell, another has my Gunzes, and the old A-6 box holds Model Master, Polly S/Polly Scale, Floquil... Yet there always seems to be a color I need and do not yet have.

I like the paint racks that many of you have, like yours, Stik.  That's one thing I do plan on adding, a little shelf for my paints.  Right now, most of them are in the cookie tins on the little bench and in my tool box.  But I have more than fit there, and the color I need at any given moment is always in the tin on the bottom.
