I take care of no less than 5 horseless buggies; one back up for me, and one backup for the Mrs. The "camper" buggy is the fifth. Life might be simpler if I only had 1 buggy and spare horses instead!

Geez, I thought this would be something different to folks here. Didn't realize Amish communities are scattered all over. Thought it was a local phenomenon .
I used to see those all over upstate NY when I lived there. Saw one in a ditch one time--must have been a hard night!
Didn't realize there are Amish communities that far south in IN, Clint. Learn something every day.
I also live close to Amish country in Indiana its kinda strange when I go to a place called Hagerstown they have a great gun shop there but most of the city has hitching post set up in front of there stores. Its also kind funny when you drive by the bank there and see more buggies then cars.

CG Bob, That's hilarious! GREAT story!
And thanks for commenting, Dre. :)
GMorrison .......Whoa, there's a great observation! Hadn't thought of it that way.
I work part time in a LHS in Ohio, and we have Amish nearby. Some of the Amish hire van drivers to take them to construction sites, as well as various other stores. I had a group of 5 Amish men and their driver come into the store about a month ago. One of the younger ones, about 14 years old, had an electric r/c airplane that we sell and needed parts. As I was getting the parts, one of the other Amish men was playing on the flight simulator. After several crashes, the oldest Amish man said to the simulator pilot: "Don't ask for my horse and buggy."
Great photo, Greg.
^^^ Hahaha! Good one.
No bucks, no Buck Rogers
Question is, which is the more rare- the buggy or the LHS?
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

You would make a good lawyer, excellent defense of my picture!
Another thing you hardly ever see parked outside the LHS is the Wienermobile.......Should we start a list?
Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
Never occurred to me that my title might suggest something cool like a tank or personnel carrier was parked there.
Subfixer, that's funny!
I wonder if their dad knows that they borrowed the car.
I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
With you Mississippi. I was expecting a tank or an armored personnel carrier. Still an interesting shot, though.
And here was I...thinkin' there was a Sherman tank there or somethin'!
I did the 45 minute drive to my LHS, was surprised when I got there.
This is in Bremen, Indiana, USA. Just East of Amish country. There were 2 young Amish chaps inside checking out the RC aircraft.
I have a lousy cell phone camera, sorry.
