I don't mind running over to the next site to see the build progress, especially if it makes it easier on someone to do it that way.

I like to see the photos right in front of me,,,but, I don't mind clicking a link to more info if the model is a subject that has caught my interest.

Many forum formats won't let us just click and copy an article of our own from one website to post on another,,,,,,the picture links get broken when we try it.  So, we can do the text just great, then have to go through and reset all the photo links in the new post.

If the extra effort doesn't bother you, then you can post full "articles" on both,,,,,if it starts to get to you, then you will understand why some post full "at home" and partial in other places, and might choose that way yourself.

hah ! , I just recently had to relink a ton of photos when I copied some of my posts on here and the 1/72 forum onto my own page,,,,,,,making me re-link my photos to my own site.

I prefer to see the whole thing in front of me when it's possible. It's just quicker and easier to view it that way.

Over the years of perusing these and other forums I've seen my fair share of people that either just post a link to their build or post some completed photos and then link the rest or things along these lines. Now I find myself in the position of about to start a new web page, just for my own specific log of previous builds etc and if anybody finds my information useful, or appreciates a build than that's great. So do you when reading forums etc prefer to see the whole post in front of you or do you not mind taking the occasional link for more information on the build technique or subject?
