1000th post. A momentous occasion?

I believe this post is my 1000th.  I get a shiny new star! Perhaps not such an auspicious event, nor worth counting, but I thought I would dedicate a few words to the crew on the forums as well as the staff of FSM.

I don't know who all I've helped over the years -- heck, I don't even remember when I signed on here, maybe 2006? can't find it --but anyway, I know I've gleaned a lot of information myself from folks on the board here, both in my interactions with them and simply by reading. I've learned a tremendous amount and my skills reflect that.

I also want to thank Matt, Tim, Aaron, Monica and the rest of the staff at FSM for hosting this board, without which I know a lot of us would be stuck in the mud.

Finally, a shout-out to my modeling friends that I've gotten to know, if even electronically. I don't think I post that often, but it's always nice to see a familiar avatar in a thread. It's a lot like sharing beers in the garage, and it's a comfort to come to something like what we have here, to blow off steam.

Anyway, that's all I got. Peace!

  Chris

p.s. if a mod can find info on when exactly I joined up, I'd be most appreciative.  ;)
