Hello everybody. I just had to share my excitment. At our club End of Year contest a few weeks ago I had the privilege of placing models made by my entire family on the table – including one from my wife! I’m proud of my family for how well they did, and for joining me briefly in my obsession… Wink sorry, I mean hobby. From the lower left:

“Turkey Egg” by my son Nathaniel (7)

1/48 Me-109 by my son Samuel (12)

1/48 P-47 by my daughter Carley (14)

1/72 P-51 by me

And in the center…a 1/48 P-38 by Jill my lovely wife. No…I won’t tell you age. She’s gonna kill me anyway! Cool

It’s fun sharing this hobby!

That is very cool Chuck! You’re a lucky man to have the whole family join in. I have been trying to get my wife involved forever.

That rocks! It doesn't get any better than using the hobby, as solitary as it can be, to build relationships. If things get rough in the future, it helps to have that something in common, be it this or something else. Congrats to all involved!

I think this is so freaking cool! You are so lucky that the whole crew is interested in modeling. I tried years ago with my son but he doesn't like it. My wife encourages me and supports my hobby but is not into bbuilding either.
