You're welcome gents! It was fabulous watching all of them fly. They did a Road to Midway flight that included the FM-2, SBD and SNJ. They did 4 or 5 passes in different formations. Then they opened everything up for walk-arounds in the afternoon. Sunday was great, they were saying that Saturday was crazy busy. Sunday was busy but we were able to get inside the B-25 in the tail gunner station and up front, talk about nice and cozy!

On the Bench: Lots of unfinished projects! Smile

Man I really wanted to go!!! I just didn't find the time (or money) for the both of us this year.

2016 Warbird Roundup @ Warhawk Air Museum

I thought I would share a few photos I took this past weekend at the 2016 Warbird Roundup at the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa, Idaho. This is literally a 5 minute drive from my home. This was a 2-day event, Saturday I watched from my driveway as these aircraft flew around all day. Sunday, I took my 10-year old son with me and we spent the day getting up close and personal with these fabulous aircraft and listened to a great talk about Gen. Jimmy Doolittle, given by his Granddaughter, Jonna Doolittle Hoppes.
