Computer connection problems.
Posted by crackers on Thursday, November 24, 2016 4:50 PM

Periodically, I have problems with my computer when I can't make connections to certain websites. I try any troubleshooting techniques I can think of without any success. I can take my tower to a computer fixer for $100. That is an excessive price to pay, because eventually the problem solves itself. Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem ?

Thanks for your help.   Happy modeling   Crackers   Indifferent

How recently did you start using Windows 10? I converted a few months back from Windows 7 and later started having issues with links and features that would not work. It even screwed up my Eset anti virus program. I had to call Eset and the tech told me Windows 10 has a lot of issues with programs and walked me thru removing and uploading the program which worked.

There is a thread called "I hate Windows 10" so take a peek at it. I also suspect your cable provider with some of the issues you are experiencing.

Just for the heck of it go to Windows download center and look for the Malicious Program Removal Tool and download it for free then run it and see if anything pops up.
