Just switched to POSTIMAGE.ORG

After the Photo Bucket mess I switched to post image and it seems to be working ok. They do have some ads that pop up but nothing like PB.

At one point last night the ads all switched to "single laides in your area, or Russan girls looking for love" But it didnt cover the entire screen like PB did.

However at one point my wife came over to see how it was going and Immediatly thought I was surfing a porn site...... I had some "explanin" to do.

 

I've been noticing the same thing. I may have to find another image host...

I've been with Photoimages for a couple weeks now and have started repairing my builds and threads. I did open an account and it's been very easy and straightforward.

It will even fit in a quarter scale golf cart (1:4, not 1:48- I think we have put that to bed now).

Looks like you can post images even without signing up for an account, though I probably will get an account.  I did not, however, need to download any executable file!

I have not signed up for an account.  I wonder if the image will disappear when I leave their page.  If it does, I will try again tomorrow, opening an account first.

I've been using this since the pb fiasco, and haven't had problems or issues.  Been working very well so far.

I'm getting confused.  I could not find a postimage.org.  I did find a postimages (plural).  Now, that site has a button entitled download.  Is that some sort of software to do the upload function?  I am hesitant to download executable files unless I am really convinced it is a safe site.

Interesting. Been on P.I. for almost a year now and have never seen any pop ups.

That's going to be a concern for those of us with wives and children. But still, hahahahaha!
