WWII Burma Railway Survivor Dies

One of the last surviving POWs who worked on the infamous Burma Railway has died at age 102. Reading this article, the man really had the right outlook on life.

Thanks for sharing this. I've got a few history books on the Burma campaign that I need to read all the way through.

That was one of then longest campaigns in the war, from late 1941 until the end in 1945. Offensive and counter offensive under severe conditions. Lots of obscure history as well as famous names.
