Thanks, what a story.

That was one of then longest campaigns in the war, from late 1941 until the end in 1945. Offensive and counter offensive under severe conditions. Lots of obscure history as well as famous names.

Thanks for sharing this. I've got a few history books on the Burma campaign that I need to read all the way through.
