Those pilots are awesome. I got to see them as a young boy in San Diego and I remember it like it was yesterday. Thank you for sharing the vid Stik

Yes, I used to go every year that I could to the Air show at El Toro to see them until that base was closed. I have not been to Miramar or Pt Mugu to see them since then. It's great to have them back locally.
Thanks for that,I saw them in the 80's at Mcguire AFB in New Jersey, totally impressive.

Looks great Stick! I'm going to see the T-birds (I know this is a Blue vid) here in Boise on the 14th with my grandson. I'm stoked since I haven't see either team in several years and the grandson has no idea what he's in for.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Understand your enthusiam, Stik.
We were at Chicago Chinatown a couple months back, had a surprise visit by them overhead. They were practicing for a show that weekend.
You know the drill, surprise followed shortly by chills.
My brother used to be the PAO for Lemoore NAS and had them come in every year for their annual show. He has some great pics of them in his office.
Ditto on what Greg said "Surprise followed shortly by chills".

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
That's awesome. I can't remember how old I was the first time I saw them, but they were flying F-4's at the time. I just remember clamping my hands over my little ears as hard as I could and STILL it was impossibly loud!
Cheers, Mark

Last time I saw the Blues flying they were in A-4's. I need to see them again.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
I used to see the Blue Angels at Pt. Mugu when I was a kid. Been decades since I've seen the Angels, but I have seen the Thunderbirds at Luke Air Force Base near Phoenix.
