Just finished something I recorded off the radio back at Little Rock AFB in 1976,  "Oder to a Politician".  Next the A/C kicking on and then some CDSs with things I recorded off of A.F.R.T.S. during Vietnam.  They played sine giid stuff ubckudung sine canned shiws and theur kuve DJs didn't always have a smooth day on the air.

I also have sime copies of a few WWII Liberty records that my Father grabbed before they could be destroyed.

I listen to a lot of talk radio or sometimes toss a Grateful Dead jam session on if I'm going to be at the bench for a couple hours or more.

The radio show? How cool. Didn't William Conrad play the part of Matt Dillon on the radio?

Yeah that's right but I was actually watching/listening to it on television. This was from my time.

I've always modeled in silence.  It's more calming that way, plus I need all the help concentrating I can get.

I do like listening to music, however.  I'm one of those dreaded audiophiles.  So, when I listen, I put all of my energy into listening.  Tastes range from classical to straight-up jazz to thrash metal.  If I have a favorite genre, it's prog rock from the late 60's and 70's: Cream, ELP, Rush, King Crimson.  Like alot of Alan Parsons Project and Yello too.

I heard the mission bell,

this could be heaven, or this could be hell...”
