Twas the Apollo Before Christmas...
Posted by GAF on Friday, December 21, 2018 7:26 PM

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 8, this NASA video is presented.

Hard to believe it's been 50 years.  God bless all of you, all of you on the good Earth!

I go all the way back to Sputnik! I recall when we had NO humanity in space.  Man , I rember  the Space program.  We took a trip to Florida in April 1968 and saw the tower from just after the first Saturn V test.  Went inside the VAB.  Man, was I in ecstasy.  Apollo 8 mission was FANTASTIC!    Looking forward to the film.

Earth Rise was on the front page of the Orlando Sentinel this morning.

I couldn't figure out how to get/paste the front page here but this is the picture that was on the front page this morning.
