What does the topic "." mean?
Posted by zimmerit on Thursday, September 26, 2019 11:26 PM

I don't understand why some posting titles are "." What does it mean? Is it like "ditto"? Ditto Please explain.

Also if I have a question on a paint color for a piece of armor,  do I post in armor or paint and airbrushing? Thank you in advance everyone!

The original poster of those topics got mad at everyone and deleted the title and content of all his posts,go figure.

For best results,I would say post that in the armor section, painting is more for general painting questions

It means squat, just the OP pouting. Treat them like you would any other 2 year old not getting their way.

Now on to more serious things, Ditto Tojo.

Since you cannot totally delete a topic title or post, you can edit it and replace all the text with just a period. Which in effect deletes it.

It's like posting a topic "Please don't look at this post"

Yes, as said above, questions how to paint a particular subject, ship, aircraft, armor, etc., are best posted in that genres’ forum. Questions about paint iteslf, say brands or type, thinning, or techniques are best posted in the painting forum.

and don’t worry about this crew, they are a good humored bunch for the most part. Enjoy the hobby, and share the enjoyment!
