This is Daisy Josephine. I will teach her to build models
Thanks,
John
Congrats, Grandpa! What a lovely child!
I had my first and only grandchild, 18 years ago. Tried to teach him modeling, but no interest. He has many other worthwhile hobbies going on.
The time goes so fast. I cannot believe he is now in his first year of college!
Treasure every moment with your grandchild! It goes so fast, every moment is precious.
Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
Thanks Chuck - I had no idea I would be this overwhelmed. She's in TX and I'll head out to see her soon.
Awesome Keavdog! Congratulations
Congrats. Our three grandsons stayed this last weekend. 13, started 8th grade, 7, second grade and 6, first grade. Quite the handful and while they like to look at them, none has and interest to build. The 6 year old might later.
They seem to grow faster than our kids did. I can't believe the oldest is a year from high school.
We also have 2 granddaughters. One is 22 and the other is 4. What a cutie! Dad better be ready.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

“Ya ya ya, unicorn papoi!”
Thanks all. I think I was more nervous about my daughter’s pregnancy than I was about my wife’s back in the day. I was pacing the floor waiting to hear what happened for a few hours. So happy that their new family is well and I have a new little one to play with. This is the first in the family so I'm sure she will be spoiled! I'm as proud as can be. Had no idea how much I would feel for her until I saw her little face. My heart swelled and I cried a bit. Overwhelmed with emotion considering everyone came though okay and her sweet little face. Wow – I had no idea what the grandpa experience would be but I love that little one already. Damn!
My oldest is going into his last year of college. His brother into his last year in high school. They've sat and watched me build for hours, asked all kinds of questions, but will not build anything. Hang on tight because the ride gets very bumpy sometimes but it flies by so fast and you will wonder where it went.

Armornut you gave me a good laugh. That's what I do, spoil em rotten, hype em up and give em back. My son laughs, my daughter grinds her teeth.....

Ah, congrats. How cute. Such a wonderful thing to be able to teach, spoil and then give them back for all the hard stuff. Again, congrats.

Hey There!
Well, congratulations are in order. My first grand was also a Girl! We called her Rosamarie. Mom and Dad called her Rosemary! Have you noticed this though. Even the worst person you can think of was cute as a bug as a baby! What Happened?
Congratulations
Congradulations.
I've got three but have never really gotten that involved with them, my wife has. It must be my upbringingand experiences with my two brothers. Oh well, enjoy them.
WooHoo!!! Congrats, John!
