Upcoming Holidays

Hey Ya'll:

Yeah, it's that time of year again. Black friday is over, Whew! Now, I need to say something and I am only gonna say this once this year. As I think about what 2022 has been like I certainly 2023 will be better for everyone. So, With that in Mind. Have a Safe, Happy and Family focused Christmas and New Years Eve time. Be Safe, be Calm and here's a trick I use every year. Go to your favorite Shopping spot. Watch the folks. You'd be surprised at some of the behavior these folks exhibit!

I was doing some late spot shopping Friday and I was flabbergasted! I was in line for my monthly Starbucks Coffee. This lady in front of me had her thirteen year old and her one year old with her. I, of course commented how cute the little one was. When I walked up, that little one gave me the biggest smile I had seen all day. And she was dressed like a little tomboy. Well, we had a conversation, that mother and I,I thanked her for her job(She was a Nurse) Well, when our turn came of course, as I've said They were ahead of me. The Woman told the Barista,"Put what he want's on my Tab" Could've knocked me over with a feather.

Of course I said 'Well, Ma'am that's not's necessary" Her response was(I had forgotten I was was wearing my very old Marine Corps "T" Shirt.)"Thank You for Serving and have a Merry Christmas" The little one smiling and waving All the way out the door. How's that for a nice day ?Huh?  So, yes, that's about the dozenth time I have been told that since 1979. Soo, it took years, but Some Parts of our world are mellowing out. God Bless all and Stay Safe Okay?
