Hello one and all (White_r34) here and I know that this is fully off topic Sign - Off Topic!! [#offtopic]but I need to point out some thing to you all of the up coming Gulf Coast Monster [Hurricane Gustav]. See a lot of your felow modelers live in the gulf coast region and thing down here are a bit slower that some othere stats, so if after the "Monster" hits and you all can't seam to get in touch with any of us you all will know just why. To Night all over this gulf coast region fokes are going mad with trying to get all the thing they may need to make it through this 3rd "Monster". So tonight I'm going to jump on my last two projects and try and get them done before this Event comes. Wish me and all the Gulf Coast Modelers a bit of luck.

We take our hurricanes serious on the Gulf Coast. I am on the Louisiana coast between Baton Rouge and Texas. Hurricane Rita hit us head on three years ago and it took a lot of 1:1 scale building to get things back right. I have a bag packed in case I have to evacuate and have supplies set in just in case I decide to ride this one out. I have some painted up auto models to tinker with to pass the time. Good luck man.

And it looks like New Orleans is right in the center of the "cone of uncertainty," to use a Weather Channel term. If Gustav is going to hit the Gulf Coast, let's hope it at least stays away from there.

An idea: Everybody on the Gulf Coast in the hurricane's path face south and on the count of three, BLOW! One...two...three!

Maybe that'll push Gustav back out to sea.Smile [:)]
