I was bummed I could not use Sprue Bros today. They are out of the kit I wanted so instead of having it next week I'll have it next month.

Big Smile [:D]

Since 1961 i've lived in small one horse towns and i've had to mail order most anything that I had a need for. Sprue Bros, regardless of what it is they sell has the best system and the most helpful people that i've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

They make me feel like they're all sitting around the computer just waiting for me to place an order so they can jump into action.

Thanks for being there Sprue Brothers                                                                                 Tony

I have never ordered much from online dealers in the past. I've always felt they were either small time drop shippers or well stocked and overbudget. Either way, I remained ambivalent. I recall when Sprue Bros first started. I thought, "No big deal..."

Last night I visited them and was surprised. They have come a long way. They have enough clout now to stock and offer at clearance some Eduard 1:48 Weekend Edition C-IIa Walfisches. Probably the last we'll see there for awhile. I got one, fer sure. Other prices didn't look too bad, either.

Ill head back.

Cheers, David

I have been a Sprue Bros customer for about a year. They ship quickly and I love the real time inventory counter!

I use several other Online stores, but I always check Sprue Bros first! Too many other sites are cluttered with R/C and Train stuff. If you only want to shop for kits and modeling supplies, then Sprue Bros is the way to go. Big Smile [:D]

I looked at the site.. Love that I can list all items with Norwegian currency Big Smile [:D]

My prefferd shop is modelsforsale.com, ordering from England rather than overseas. They also have real time stocks, and are quick on shipping as well.. And the same price range as wel.

But seems that Sprue Brothers got a few goodies I may need...    Probably Preffered shop #2 from now on? Wink [;)]

I love ordering from Sprue Bros as well.  Kudos to their "real time" inventory and ultra-fast shipping.  I look there for stuff I need before anywhere else. Thumbs Up [tup]

I don't know how this worked....(Ideal with them mostly)....but I ordered on a Saturday and got a Sunday a.m. mail telling me the order had been shipped! Maybe they were there all night. They and Squadron are the fast to my experience.

That is good to know when you need something quick.

I agree. I have put in orders and got them 2 days later, even if it's only a $10 order. I e-mailed the owner and and expressed my thanks for his customer service. He said his priority is to get the order shipped the same day.

I have had the same experience. The only reason my last order took a week to get to me was because it was sent to via USPS over the  New Years holiday. Very quick response and excellent customer service too!

I thought I pass this down. I placed a small order on Dec. 22, some PE and resin goodies. Received it on Dec. 24! It was sent UPS Ground and still got to me in 2 days.Smile [:)]
