Equally amazing is the fact that the Trinity Church organ is...you won't believe this...electronic!  No pipes!  NPR did a story on it, and Cameron Carpenter, and had a link to the Chopin video on thier Website.

As a musician as well, I was blown away by both of these performances! It's amazing what practicing can do!

Sadly, so much of today's youth can "text" faster than a speeding bullet, but will have no patience to actually sit down and learn to  play a musical instrument!

I ws impressed with the thought that the musical score--the written music--for that second piece must have taken weeks to write, back in the composer's day, with ink well and fountain pen! It must be the size of a small book! There's a lot of notes in there! LOL!

I know, Theres this one meuseum in new york, cant remember the name, they have the VERY FIRST Piano, ever build, as well as Mozart's origional scores... I mean, could you imagine actuially seeing the music he put his pen to...
