                        Pretty good story... but ESCI also did the first 1/48 Fiesler Storch also in their WWII era lineup of kits...

                        Are you sure this is really an ESCI kit or maybe an AMT kit with their logo? They did this with the B-26 also, was not really an ESCI kit but a 1970s AMT kit.

                        I never saw the Storch under an AMT box label, only the ESCI/ScaleCraft ones of the late 70s early 80s.
