I just bought Essential Techniques for the Model Builder and The Doog has an article therein called "Modeling Snow." Just wanted to say what a nice job he did on that diorama! He conveys the bitter cold and the misery the German soldiers on the horse-drawn wagon are going through. I feel cold just looking at them (and it's not because I'm running the air conditioner; it's 100 degrees outside here in Phoenix!). I'm just curious as to the diorama's title. Anyway, thank you, Doog, for sharing your work! |

Hey, Jim (and deadhead!) thanks for the appreciation. I had a post up on this build when I originally built it, and you know, I never DID title it?! I think I called it "Snow Tutorial; Tamiya's Field Kitchen"? Or something like that?
I had been thinking of something like 'A More Reliable Form of Transportation"? --being that the motorcycle is dead on the steppes there...I actually have never titled it though....it's still in my display case without a name!
Thanks for the compliments! I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it, and hope the tutorial helps you one day!
