A small request.
If this thread is slightly out of place, I apologize. But I thought that this was the best location.
As the title states, I was wondering if some of the members of this board could give me a hand. In the GB section, I am heading the 2009 junior GB. To encourage an increase in modeling skill, enjoyment, and a total level of satisfaction form the entire project, it has been suggested that we give a kit to every junior that completes a model on time. However, this is where I have a dilemma. We at current count, have 4 kits, thoughtfully provided by Soulcrusher, to give. But as of now, I believe the count of entrants is around ten. By June 6th, where all members must be signed up, I believe we will have 15, maybe more. My request form you is would you be willing to donate 1 kit from your stash and ship it? We'll take any kit, big or small, long or short. Anything you can spare! I am not asking for you to give up your entire stash for just this, but I WOULD like you to consider helping. I think that it a superb idea and I wanted to see if I could generate some interest. Please, if you have any questions, PM me. If you are willing to donate a kit, PM me what it is and I'll keep a list. When someone finishes their build, I will select form the list something along their interest lines. I will them PM you a pic of their build, and an address for which to ship it to. Please, if you can help with this, I thank you very much, and I'm sure that the recipient will be equally pleased!
