Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

This is teetering on the edge of a hijacking. 2 mules for Sister Sara? Is that a good trade, not sure what mules are going for these days!

I should confess here. I don't actually have any mules. I'd like to say it's because I'm so well prepared & ridiculously skilled. The truth is that I'm too cheap to sacrifice a kit as a testbed for anything, and I've probably been luckier than I deserve as far as airbrush issues go. Over the years I've had two paint jobs that have gone so horribly wrong I couldn't finish. Both destroyed in a thinner-induced rage.

Everyone talks about their mules from time to time.  It would be nice if they were to get a little recognition for their sacrifice to the hobby.  They were once a proud display or a failed project put to some use.  I'll start with a photo of an old Monogram Typhoon, Testor's P-51D, and a Monogram Zero.  They all came from a box that my Mom was good enough to save from my youth.  They are pretty beat up, but knowing my little brothers, it's amazing that they exist at all.

I've tested colors, decals, masking tapes, airbrush pressures, and clear coats on those proud old fighters.  They've served me well.  I thought it would be fun to see who all might want to show their mules.  I bet there are some "dooozies" out there.   Rick
