I have been separating, trimming and
grinding off the surplus plastic from the Rommel's Rod roadwheels
using my ever handy and oh so vintage Mattel Power Shop.
I intend to chuck the wheels in a Dremel for trueing.
New rear wheels will now be needed
behind the kit parts and I intend to cut plastic discs.
I was considering using a brass tube to
spin/cut the circles but don't have a large enough tube.
Are my only other methods for cutting
discs by:
-
scribing a circle on styrene using
the original kit roadwheels and snapping the discs from styrene (
which leaves ragged edges ) ...
or
-
hand cutting circles from plastic
squares?
Any other options?
