Recieved my parts that I ordered the other day. Took a little over a month to recieve as they said. Not only did I recieve a replacment clear parts sprue I also got the full cockpit sprue. Not sure if this was an accident or not but at least I got what I ordered. Noe I can finish up my Typhoon and post some pics. Thanks to all who helped out.

An update on acquiring Hasegawa replacement parts. I sent an email to the link recommended in the thread Daywalker hooked me up with. Mary Ann responded promptly with information on ordering parts. I called the number she included, which is the one in the thread (217-398-8970). Here's the hitch, on the options message it states that this is for ordering for wooden models only.  Do not be dismayed. Select option 3 and talk to someone about your needs and they will transfer you to Mary Ann. She was extremely helpful and told me they would need to order my clear parts sprue tree from Japan and would take about a month and the charge was $9.99. I was just grateful to find a fairly painless outlet for finding Hasegawa spare parts. Now, we'll see how the de;ivery end of this comes out. Thanks for the assistance.

Thanks Daywalker I'll certainly give that a shot. I've been working on this kit for nearly 8 months, so what the hey,  another delay isn't going to ruin my day. Anyway, it was my fault for dropping that little bugger into the depths of the fuselage where I don't seem to be able to retrieve it.

                                                               Thanks, Joe

Hasegawa Replacement Parts

Greetings All,

Would anyone have a lead on where to contact Hasegawa for replacement parts? I just lost the gunsight for my 1/48 Hawker Typhoon and was hoping to obtain a replacement clear parts tree. Or possibly might someone have one in their stash? I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

                                               Thanks, Joe
