Hans, the reason they didn't match is because Testors "got it right",,,,,the two colors were different, not just gloss or flat versions of the same color

a lot of colors in the hobby have been "labeled as wrong",,,,,,when it may be that they matched the standards in place at the time the color was used,,,,,and not the current 595B and C system, that everyone is using for modeling

Krylon has a Gloss Sea Blue rattle can that looks right to me.  I used it on a F4U1D Corsair I did last Spring.  I'm not sure if it would match the tri-color scheme though.

There's still some in the rack at both my LHS and Hobby Lobby, as far as I know they kept it...

I tried to use it to finish off a PBJ tail belonging to a Monogram PBJ-1H that had been painted in NS Sea Blue the glossy Dark Sea Blue... It didn't match the NS Sea Blue even after shooting it with clear flat...

Rattle-can FS35402, Non-specular Sea Blue is outta production... At least that's what I learned from my hobby shop guy when I asked him to order some..
