MICHEAL , I am probably old enough to be your dad . I do remember this kit under the " COMET " label Years ago .Then about the middle fifties it came out as AURORA "BEECH-super 18 " It wasn,t bad as such. It was well molded and the paint pattern was engraved into the surface , BUT , not the panels . It had clear windows and a clear cockpit windshield unit .There was a bulkhesd to install so you couldn,t see down the length of the plane when it was built .The landing gear was very delicate but survived a ham handed pre- teen guy . I made many flights over the flower garden " JUNGLE " until it was missing so many parts the only flight left was a FLAMING crash into the "AMAZON JUNGLE " no survivors, including my backside . I burned one of dads prize dwarf roses .! what did I know ? Anyway I remember it fondly .I don,t know what the price is now , but , it was very pleasurable in the many variations I built over the years . I would say, if the thing is molded as back then , take a trip back in time and build it just for the sheer fun of it . tankerbuilder
