Ah, that puts a whole new paint job on things! (nyuk nyuk nyuk)

Have you tried Testors "Dullcoat" rattlecans? They work quite well. The only luck I've had with brushing flat/clear is in tiny spots, like a shiney CA spot.....larger areas result in a satin sheen.

I brush paint, maybe thats my problem. Is there a matt coat that works well with brushes?

Try spraying from a little bit further away from the model, so the "flat" hits the model semi-dry.

Maybe even a little less thinner in the mix???Tongue Tied

Micro Flat not flat?

Couldn't figure out where to put this, so it goes here.

Just finished the markings on my wildcat, and started painting over the gloss with Micromark Micro Flat to make it all pretty and pro looking. But whats this? my micro flat is not flat, but satin...what am i doing wrong?

Cheers.

Mike.
