My first Moebius kit: The Batmobile from The Dark Knight Trilogy

I just received my first Moebius kit that I ordered over the internet. I've only opened the box and browsed through the bagged parts....without opening the bags.... and flipped through the instruction manual. And I'm very impressed. The first thing that I noticed upon picking up the kit is that for a 1/25 "car" it's a heavy kit. When I opened the box I saw why. This kit is loaded with parts. Upon first glance I didn't see anywhere on the box or in the instruction booklet, information on how many parts are in the kit. But, I would have to say it has twice as many parts as your average 1/25 car kit. Of course, this is no average car. From what I've seen so far the molding quality appears to be excellent. I'll know more about the quality when I start building it but I see no signs of flash on the parts. I was also impressed with the instruction manual. The instructions are printed on glossy paper from front to back. The drawings are clear and easy to understand and the parts are not only numbered but named as well. My only complaint over the manual is that the only painting guide is located on a couple of pages near the back of the manual with color photos of the completed model. I prefer the instructions to have painting suggestions throughout. Of course, we're talking about a car that is almost completely black so I suppose there isn't a great deal of suggestion needed in this case. Over the past 5 to 10 years I've collected more models than I've built and I general put newer models on hold in order to hopefully make progress on models I've had for a long time. But this is one model I may not be able to wait on. And there will be more Moebius kits added to my collection in the very near future.
