Indeed. There were about a dozen other coworkers that  all got a little something as well.

I've made it a point to build this one next and bring it to work.  I've never built a thud before and I've been in WWII mode for a while so this will be a nice change of pace.

Panzerpilot, speaking of Girlfriends, Wives, or Bosses,  my Boss is all three tied up in one package. When I opened my presents this morning there was an envelope sticking out of a flannel shirt pocket.  The note in there said "I thought you could use a little cash for your hobby fund".  I won't say how much but I can place a nice sized order.  Three cheers for nice Bosses.  Not planning to quit any time soon. Wink

Nice gift for sure.

The only thing my boss gave me was 16 hr shifts on the 24th-25th-26th

I'm with ya Tojo, I have to work until 6 PM tonight, fortunately I brought one of my kits with me to tinker on during the slow times.  That's what is cool about my job, we are allowed to work on things/personal projects at work when its slow.  I'm crossing my fingers I dont have to come in tomorrow; however, as being one of the supervisors for a dispatch center, we rotate the on-call position, and this is my week "in-the-box".No

Thats great, modeling at work. Not quite there, but it will be quiet, just have to answer a few phones and send out techs on emergencies. We mostly watch sports and movies, especially since it's warmer for us not so busy.

Oh wow, that's awesome!

I'm sitting here working Christmas and Christmas Eve, oh well it's slow and it is also overtime so I'm not complaining too much.

Wow! That's cool. I wish my coworkers had a clue about scale modeling. I display some of my builds in my cube and I have to tell them I made them and didn't buy them finished.

They always leave a little something... candy, calendar etc. but today I walked in on a 1/48 Revel F-105D!

Waaay better than candy!  This was the same person that got me back into modeling after they gave me a few kits when I was off due to surgery.

Them's good people!  : )
