Paper Model to Kit.

Hi All.

Recently I downloaded quiet a few Papermodels of the Net.

Now there are quiet a few good and high quality models out there, after looking at the instructions it kinda struck me that some of the Models could be just as well assembled from Sheet styrene and bassically become a scratchbuild Model.
Especially with Companies like WAVE & KOTOBUKIYA offering AM parts for SF/Mecha models.

Naturally a few parts might have to be fully scratchbuild/sculpted but the majority should be there.
Also that with todays PC's and Graphic software it should be easay to change the scale of the Kit to be build, thus changing a 1/100 Tydirium papermodel to a 1/72 Sheet styrene kit should be easy

Maybe with a bit of effort we could turn a papermodel of a unavailable/hard to get design into a fairly easy scratchbuild.

What are your thoughts on this??
