The van is nearly finished... If you were just going to have that as an entry, it is too far along. But if you are planning to do a diorama with the van in a 70s setting of some sort, that would work, depending upon the extent of the other work.
What you mean?
The '74 van would be ok as part of a diorama, but is too far along to be done as a stand alone project....
I've never participated before, but I'd be up for this one. Just Do It.

Planning on doing a 1970's style camping site diorama.
Alrighty then. If we get enough interest here, I will run it. Sounds like we have a few nibbles here.
stikpusher It just has to be a 1970s subject.
Yes, the Ultra Blue Metallic paint scheme I was going to do is from 1978.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Go Bobbie!
Yes, crossovers would be allowed. It just has to be a 1970s subject.
Would there be crossover's? I am building a 1/200 Braniff 727 for My Boeing build which is starting in July.
I'd be in with armor from the 1973 October war
See, now we are talking... Lots of unusual subject choices: late Vietnam war or the China/Vietnam, Cambodia/Vietnam wars... Yom Kippur War... Entebbe & Mogadishu hostage rescues... Apollo & Skylab... US Bicentennial schemes... Militaries world wide toning down and switching from NMF and Hi Viz schemes... For the civil guys new wide body airliners such as the 747, DC-10, and L-1011 flying around the world... Or the Concorde SST... All sorts of cars from the humble Bug to Trans Am to the Porsche 911... Voyager was launched to the far reaches of the Solar System... Viking landed on Mars...
Veeery veeery interestink........... you got my attention..........
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Already did an Entebbe C-130
Iranian Tomcat

A few years back we had a pretty good 1980s themed GB happen here. Who would be interested in doing one starting in June or July here? Any subject that is from the 1970s... Civil or Military, Real Space, TV or Movies, it just has to be as it was in that decade...
