Welcome to the forums.  I started building when I was five and I just turned 64.  There was a year gap in building a couple times while I was over seas during Vietnam but otherwise it's been fairly constant.  I build all types of kits but lately have been working steel ships because I can't handle the rigging on sailing ships anymore.  I also build some science fiction and certain aircraft that squadrons I have been in have flown in their histories.

I also build vehicles operated by the U.S. Air Force Security Police from jeeps, cars, and trucks to our armored vehicles.

I'm also getting kits together for a collection of aircraft flown by the Thai military.

If you have any questions on subject background, building informtion and so on, don't hesitate to ask, there's a wealth of information around here.

Hi. My name is John Crumpton and I am 45 years old and I have been a modeller since I was 13. I love all types of models and all scales, which makes it difficult to decide on my next project. I would call myself an advanced intermediate to low level advanced in some areas. I am part serious, part easy going. Not USUALLY a rivet counter. I love to learn and love to soak up info like a sponge. Been following for years. Now I want to participate. When I learn to post images I will do so.
