Hi guys ! (and gals)
I've found one of the old Hasegawa F105's with the Thunderbird decals (1/72).
My next project is the whole series of a/c for both the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angles...have them all now. (yes, I will include the "Sky Blazers"
The problem is that the decal sheet for the 105 was wrapped around the parts bag, apparently for a long time. The sheet does not appear to be cracked but has quite a curve running the length....you could say 180.
Does anyone have experience with "flattening" a decal sheet ? I don't want to ruin it.
I plan to scan it just in case some part of the decal "goofs" when applied. That way I can make another. I'm also thinking about using decal film as a just in case. If necessary I could use the scanned copy for a "mask" for painting. But I'd like to use the decals.
Any thoughts ?
Thx
