Besides HLJ? I see a couple of kits at pretty good prices coming out of Japan. I've never ordered overseas before. Buyer beware like from other foreign countries?

Yes, i did recently. Tempestjohnny put me onto a site that sold the Fine Molds Me 410's at a nice price. I ordred on eon the 20th Dec and it arrived in less than 10 days, damn impressie for that time of year. He ordered his a few days before me and got his a couple of days later. I can't speak for other companies over there, but these guys were great. I ordered from Plaza Japan.

Hi, yeah, Ive ordered from companies there via Ebay & other secure sites, actually one of the ones mentioned. Never had a problem, sometimes it takes awhile like near Christmas. The Canadian dollar has taken a dive but I used to get great deals. I try to keep my local hobby shop going but at three times the price its hard to justify buying a kit there. I still buy paint & stuff. Hope this helps you.

Thank you. The place I'm looking at is Japantoysmarket. THey have a 100% positive feedback on over 1334 sales. That would seem to be be pretty good and yes it's through ebay.
Hey Tigerman, Ebay runs a tight ship. All these years never had a problem. One time I thought it was taking a little long from Australia & they were on it like "white on rice" but you get what I mean.
I know I have a few times and never had a problem.

Thank you gents.
I've ordered from Japanese and Chinese dealers on eBay. The Japanese dealers tend to ship items a little faster, but, I've never had a problem getting the item. I have some PE items coming from Japan, and some paint coming from China right now.

ive ordered numerous times from Japanese retailers off ebay and never once had trouble. Come to think of it, I've never had a problem ordering from ebay.
HLJ always has good prices, but make sure you don't choose surface mail unless you don't need the stuff right away. Last year I ordered in january and received my shipment in may.
Just to add the only issue I've ever had is the import TAX, its not the sellers problem but I always have it in mind when ordering as it can add a lot to the price

I have order from Japan and China and never had any problems. As I do here when I order from an American retailer for the first time, I first place a small order to see if I encounter any issues with them. Been lucky so far.

I order from TokyoHobby through eBay frequently. Outstanding prices if you're willing to wait on delivery.

i ordered off HLJ one time with no problem; ordered off EBay a few times same results but I make sure I check the sellers rating and testimonials. Haven't been burned from Asia, now jolly old England different story.
I pulled the trigger a few days ago. I'll let you know how it goes. The company had excellent feedback.
