Fair enough. I do have a completed kit in mind but I need to take a pic first since I have to bring camera to work. Completed kit is at my workplace. It will have to wait until after the Memorial Day holiday next week.
Yes it is scratch huilt,There should be a build log on fsm somewhere.
Your turn BS214. The way this works is that if you are the host, you get to pick the reply you like best, then you pass it over "your turn Black Sheep", type of deal...
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Not a bad idea at all!
I can dig it.
With rules like the "trivia" gave on some forums.
Post a pic of one build...whomever properly identifies type, kit, and scale (not inpossible!) get to post one of theirs, and so on.
Close enough. It's Zvezda's boxing. I think Eduard reboxed their La-5FN with the cut down spine. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Zvezda did the original.
Who's next?
I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.
Have fun.
Impossible to guess manufacturer because several companies make the same kit. La-5 1/48 scale Eduard
OK. Name the type, scale, and kit manufacturer.
Oh I'm not very good at stuff like this but gee what's that awesome dirgible in the top middle of your collection Philo? Very cool, is she scratch-built?

I was thinking the same thing.Maybe an iffy idea.
A fun game but it will be impossible to determine what the manufacturer would be of each kit. So many make the same type of aircraft. Just saying...
Ok!Lets start with his one!
Post picture and see what happens. Build the field and they will come.
I do not know, perhaps bragging rights?
Sure, I'm sure a few of us would play. What do we win???
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Would it be cool to post pics of your model collection and have other members try to id them?I know it could be tough to id the manufacturer but would the other members think this is a good idea?Interesting challenge for sure!Make it a game to name the type ,scale and perhaps the brand of kit. What do you guys think?
