PS--love those V-tailed things, I walked up and looked into the cockpit of one of those (non-running) and they are certainly basic, I guess is the word.

Impressive to say the least.  Begs the question of how you find time to keep the wolf from the door and put groceries on the table.  Nice collection for the year, average of 1/2 a month.

We don't have wolves here!  

The deer are in my woods, they pretty much put themselves on the table!!!

Seriously though, I don't work all winter...other than on call for snow removal at my airport, which also gives me a little bit of time to work on models while waiting for the snow to amount to enough to mess with clearing the runway. Work season these days is from May-Novemeber....freeing up a lot of time. What else am I gonna do....I aint going out there, it's cold! I'm lucky if I finish 5 models all summer, and that's if a couple are already well under way when work fires up. I bust my hump all summer, so I don't have to do much in the winter.

Thanks...and, I supposed I liked the kit just fine. I'm not at all into armor, so I'm really not in the know of what could be better or worse. I don't recall any fit issues at all...then again it is armor, doesn't seem like there's anywhere near as many opportunities for those issues as there is with aircraft.

   Fermis , you've been busy . By the way The figures in the vignette with the car are the ones I have been referring to lately . I bought the whole darned series !

   Commission and the body failing after the accident , prevents finishing of a lot of mine  .The only other thing done was a model of a century Speed-Boat unfinished because of the poor molding and letting the filler dry .  T.B.

How about a little commentary on these...some of your favorites, ones that gave you the most headaches, most fun to build, etc...

 

Well...I'll start with the headaches...all of em!!! The most troublesome were the open engined FW-190, HE-111, E-2 and A-6...just because of the extra effort with all the A/M stuff. But, the end resluts make them some of my favorites.

I really enjoyed the other 190's, nothing complicated and they are cool planes...same with the Migs.

I think the most fun I had though, was with the Mechs. The builds couldn't be simpler, and then you can have some fun with them....for those that missed the WIP on em...

To pick a single, favorite for the year. I'd have to go with Neuschwanstein Castle. As much of a PITA as it was...and though it's probably not the best of the bunch. It's a bit of a 3D snapshot/reminder of our trip and visit to the castle. The wife loves it, and appreciates the work and total frustration that I put into it. She heard all the words wafting upstairs...I do believe that I even threatened to burn this whole  house down, if she didn't like it!

All of this is nothing short of amazing!  Great job sir!

As I was re-reading the thread, I was thinking the castle might be my favorite (yikes, what a hard choice amongst all this neat stuff) too. Was kind of surprised when you mentioned same.

That was a great WIP thread, too. (your castle, I mean)

That castle is pretty crazy fermis even by your standards.  Great line up for the year as usual.

Sorry, I came up a little short...it was a slow year, and the projects were a little more involved than in previous years...and I was busy getting my business up and running.

Nothing to add except ..... WOW! I do remember seeing a number of those WIP. It's hard to pick a favorite.
