Last month I added Wing Nut Wing's Sopwith Camel to my stash.

Shortly after that, I found an ancient kit on eBay and managed to "steal" it from another high bidder - old Monogram baby blue box kit of the Pylon Racers (F8F Bearcat and P-51B Mustang).  This gives me just about every one of Monogram's blue box releases, which dated from the mid-1960s into the very early years of the 1970s, and just so happens to have fallen right into my introduction to this hobby as a 3-year-old.  I have many good memories about what came in those blue boxes, so over the past few years I've been picking them up when I find them.  There are still a couple of helicopters to locate, and the F11 Tiger as Blue Angel kit as well.  And thus far, I've built the F8F Bearcat, P-39 Airacobra, and F4F Wildcat.  Keeping the boxes, will likely find a way to mount them on a wall display.

Today I got a Tamiya Dewoitine D.520 off eBay and grabbed Airfix's new Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 to the stash.

Nice Keyda, got your work cut out for a little while.  Worked on B-52's next door to the SR's back in '73, absolutely amazing aircraft.

I love looking through my stash and discovering a kit I forgot I had. It's like Christmas. You just doubled that fun.

I've picked up too many kits to list lately!  I've been on a buying spree.  I have some extra cash to play with lately and decided to bulk up my stash.  It's probably doubled in size.  I think there is a total of 43.  Usually I'm right around 20.

The kits for my "Planes of Niagara"

The regular build whenever stash.

A few bigger ones buried, lol.

John: Never built a Gundam kit either but that is totally badass looking! Hope you'll post the finished results.

This is completely out of my scale and even more out of my skills, but hey- I like space, and at this price, who oculd say no?

This is my first Gundam I've ever bought.   Wouldn't normally buy one of these but there is one on display in my LHS that made me want to try one.

Boy are there a lot of pieces in one of these!

I've been quite productive since my last update as I have managed to add a couple of kits off my wishlist.

My pre-order Airfix Sea Fury arrived the other day. Very excited about this. Looks to be a very nice kit.

I've been waiting a long time to find one of these at a reasonable price. Finally scored one on a FB sales group.

And then a little added bonus was this nice kit. Already had a couple of road wheels and one front wheel assembled. But, hey, for $20.00 it was worth it.

Feeling happy right now.Big Smile

Cheers, Joe

Somtimes i think it would be easier and safer to smuggle illegal drugs or another woman into the house.

The only thing I "really hide" from my wife, is when I have a Chili Dog for lunch .....

( She could care less about the kit's, but a Chili Dog .... MAN !  The Penalty is death ! ... By tounge lashing ! ) L O L

Them guns do look nice I've been wondering about 3d printed pieces for my fine molds falcon just didn't know about how smooth the finish was on them.

The 4" and 20's I got in 1/72 were in the "frosted extreme detail" and are virtually ready for paint.  I also got (awhile back) a 4" and 20's in 1/144 for another Gato, and they were just as nice.  Order out if they happen to be the frosted extreme, I think you'll be happy with them.  Set them out where the sun can get at them for a couple of days to finish hardening them up.

It may not be in this century, but, will do.

Well..... Star Trek is set in the 23rd century, so I guess i'll just put myself in" Temporal Stasis " ( Hibernation) and wait for you to get there. By then you will have the "Real thing" to use for "Reference"

( Bring food!     I will be "HUNGRY" !!! )

I thought I'd give one of these Metal Earth models a try.

Man,  what scale is that? 1/10,000 ???

I "almost" bought one of those too.  But I think I need some vacation time first..... so I can be totally relaxed when I build one. ( Less likely to "Smash it " due to stress.)

Please post some picture's of it when you get to it.

So did you have to hide them amongst some 2x4's to sneak into the house.

Actually, It was a couple of box's of screw's that I used for "Camoflauge .

( Gotta remember that for next time ! )

Good thinking. The things we have to do all for some plastic Big Smile

I ordered some Star Wars droids from Shapeways and was pretty pleased with them.  The surfaces is a little rough depending on the type of material it's printed with.  I found the clearer parts were smoother than the white ones.  But they were smoothed out nicely under a coat of paint.  I think the parts for the Falcon would be fine if you primed them before painting.

good to know thank you.

RX7850
These arrived steadily over the last month or so.

I'm shopping in the wrong store's , I just need to show up at your place..... since you now have ALL the kit's on the planet ! L O L .

My wife did some more "shopping" for building supply's today, so when she was "distracted" I snuck over to Hobby Lobby and got these.

I got the Corvette of the "Clearence" shelf for $7.50. I only bought it for part's ... ( I dont care for Corvette's )

Surcouf

The two Type VII-C's I got from another member here

The CJ-7 I picked up to build for my friend of close to 40 years

Couple of pics of the 4"/50 deck gun from Shapeways, for my 1/72 Gato being done as USS Wahoo as she left Pearl on her last patrol. Absolutely a beautiful piece of work, and the 20mm's I got earlier are just as nice.
