So I retired and we moved to the beach.

I had an 8'x12' Tuff Shed put in, then added electricity, insulation and walls.

So I proudly present my new "Man Cave" :)

Just waiting for some after market parts.

Looks great Andy. I see you have the required entertainment (tv) and refrence library (laptop)

I like it! You are a lucky man! Just saying the word retired makes me tremble. Saying retired on the beach with a hobby shed puts me into a state of ecstasy.

I like the connectivity and entertainment too. What more do you need. Maybe cut a window that looks out over the beach. Oh yeah.

Congrats on the retirement!

Congrats on retirement and the "man cave". Have you completed all the items on the "Honey Do" list around the new home yet? That's when you will really have a lot of time at the bench. Wink

Nice workshop.  Though I wonder, yet understand, how after years of hard work we always seem to be in the basement, shed, garage...lol.  I suppose it's because we love our women that much.

I'm fortunate in that we have one room in the house that is my office, model room and my wifes sewing room.  I'm indoors, and my wife and I spend time together enjoying our hobbies.

Thanks,

John

AA beat me to it, need a coffee pot and mini fridge for the other beverages...oh yeah, and a small microwave.  Then never have to go to house, just hit up the other half on the intercom for munchies.

Nice setup!

Well done, Andy! What I didn't see though, is a vent fan for the paint booth.

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

The vent fan is built into the paint booth. I still have to add a dryer vent to the wall.

Much congrats on retiring. I'm sort of there. If you live near the beach that's a double bonus chip.
