A-4 Skyhawk Open Canopy
Posted by Peter Watts on Thursday, July 04, 2019 2:57 AM

In a recent letter to Scale Talk, a former  A-4 crewman stated that the A-4 in the March, 2019 was inaccurate because the canopy was never left open unless a pilot was in the cockpit or a boarding ladder was attached. Unfortunately, even an experienced professional should never say never. Numerous photos show the canopy open without a pilot or ladder.

Could be.Really, unless your trying to depict a diorama based on a scene,I would display it the way I wanted,it doesn't matter.

How about a aircraft with all the access panels, gun bays, and canopy open, many modelers display these open just to show off their interior work. Its done eith all the genres, armor also, just to show off a feature you may have added.
