What is the best way to post images on here?  The insert image tab appears to be useless.  Is there an app or website that makes it simple?

You need to upload the images (jpeg) to a third party host. Most of those sites have a window from which you copy the images URL and then come over and paste it in the "insert image" window.

I used "Photobucket" for the longest time but they started charging a monthly fee so I dumped them. Not sure what ones are available/good now.

There are many from Facebook, Imageshack, Flker, Postimage and on and on. Just search for photo hosting sites. I use Imageshack although they do have a yearly fee, not very much $ though. Some have had issues with them but I never had in 4 years. There are free ones that work just fine, if you don't mind advertisements with proposals of marriage.

Ukranian girls who need your credit card in order to buy their airline ticket.

I use Fotki. It costs about $ 24 a year, it's super easy to use, and it's totally ad free.

I like Postimage.  Free and fast loading.

Once you get the photo online at your host, then right click it, and chose "save image location."  The address is now on your copy function.  Now begin your message, and where you want the image, click the photo (landscape icon). Now go the top window and paste that adress into the window.  Click okay.
