Notice, This is a good time.
A good time for what?
Well, just listen up. First and foremost. Remove ALL the tools from your work surface. Now if you can, take lacquer thinner and clean all the smudge and paint glops off.
Now re-organise your paints and adhesives. Good, Looks better already doesn't it? I bet you didn't realize how much the work area had shrunk due to building and NOT putting stuff back where it belongs, Right?
After you've done this then take the kits you chose not to finish for lack of parts etc. and put in the "ready" stack. Take the boxes that are empty and if the cover art is nice, cut it off and re-cycle the rest. Okay, get some Note-Books -The loose leaf type, and put some heavy craft paper in as pages and glue your collected Covers to that and label when you finished that kit and what paints and aftermarket stuff you used.
Now, there is organization. OOPS! Get that new project going and don't forget to let the work area shrink again and the tools lay all over again. There, back to normal. Oh, reminder: this would be a good time to clean , adjust and re-adjust tools and motorized tools. Clean the inside the Spray area and the stands you use for painting, Change the filter too!
Lastly: Get a good Book, cup of Tea or Coffee, And a comfortable chair and light, let everything stay clean for a day. That way the others in the house see you can clean up your area just fine. And it's big enough for what you do.
