fyi.. they carry italeri now. Picked up v-22 Osprey #2622 for $23.99 with daily coupon.
Good to know...Thanks!
There carrying a lot more model company variety. Nice to have place to go to for models
What Mike said, thanks.
Worth a trip to take a look, been wanting to go brush shopping anyway.
40% Off brushes is a nice thing. Also like getting 40% tamiya gray primer, it's all I've been using for a long time.

Not a huge selection of modeling supplies or kits there. If you build 1/48 aircraft of 1/35 armor, the pickings are mighty slim. But they do occasionally carry a kit that I would like and keep a few other items on hand such as CA glues, Tamiya glue, putties, and primers. Then the 40% off coupon comes in handy.

They now carry Atlantis kits too, soon after they are released.
They also have three racks of Testor paints, while supplies last.

I'm pretty sure they have carried Italeri before; I remember seeing the World of Tanks branded Italeri armor kits (all old 1970s, 80s, 90s kits) on sale there.
They used to be one of the "cheapest" places to buy new Dragon armor kits if you used the 40% off coupon.
Last I check (Before NJ Stay at Home Orders) they had a few new kits but still had the same Revell kits they usually carried.
I do need some new brushes though.
On Ed's bench, ???
Is that osprey kit any good?

Good or bad, last I knew it was the only game in town in 1/48. It’s an update of the original Testors/Italeri kit from 1989.
Hobbyboss has announced a kit, but it’s not here yet...
I recently built an Osprey kit from Hasegawa. Very nicely engineered, high quality. 1/72.

Indeed, when our local Hobby Lobby first opened, just the plastic models filled up both sides of an entire aisle. Now it is less than one side, and a lot of those are cars. Every once in a while you find something there that is worth it with the 40% coupon, but the 'good ol days' of having a large selection at HL are clearly over.
I remember them carrying Trumpeter, ROG, and a larger selection of Tamiya models.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
