I have much less since I started the Rolling Shelf of Doom GB. Come on over and take a look and maybe finish some of you shelf queens. We are in out third year over there.

Sorry but you'll have to cut and paste the link cause everytime I try to make it work I get a 403 error.

68GT, I just noticed that your Rolling Shelf of Doom GB is ongoing, with no set end date!  That is so cool....I just may sign up with a queen or two!

Anyone is welcome to join! If I don't comment because of technical issues somebody usually does.

I just have two-a 1/48 Revell A-10 that is a beast with fit issues and my Arizona that has been in dry dock for a few years. She’s in the process of having the deck masked to paint the hull and superstructure (lots of little pieces of tape) and the final fitting out. I plan to finish her by this spring. My current build, an Aifix P-40, is awaiting decals and finishing up.

Those 48th scale Revell A-10s are that bad? The 72nd scale kit sucks but I thought the 48th was good. Never bought one in 48th scale but know that they are still selling them at Hobby Lobby.

I've got about six at the mo, some of them going back a lot longer than I'd care to admit!  I don't count those which are actually still being built, even if the rate of progress is somewhat geological.  A couple of them are pretty close to the finish line, I really should try to stir myself into action.  Giddyup.  Yaaa.

Vell, Zaphod's just zis guy, you know?

I vaguely recall building one when I was a kid, I think there were gaps and heavy seams galore.  Maybe I should give it a try again now that I sort of know how to deal with them.  i.e. not continue pouring more Testors cement from an orange tube in it.

This one was a tough one for me. There are some pretty good size gaps where the engines mate to the fuselage and some high seams on the fuselage itself. Also remember some gaps when I dry fitted the wings. I'm going to fix it and finish it one day....I just had other projects pop up and I guess I lost interest.
