It wouldn't be a problem unless you are selling stuff, policy is no advertising.

Otherwise, you can post them in the appropriate section, like techniques, painting, armor, cars, ships, wherever it fits.

I have posted YouTube links before.  There is actually a button for inserting videos in the post editing box.

As for where to put them.  I would say put them under whatever forum subject the specific video applies to.

Not bad form at all.  As to where to post them, I advise you to post a video to the most relevant forum by content.  So, if your video is an armor build, post in the Armor forum.  If it's on a technique, post it in the Tools & Techniques forum, and so on.

That would probably still qualify as advertising, so it probably wouldn't be welcomed by the administrators of the site.

I would try the worst that would happen would be they would remove it,or you could PM a moderator and ask.

No. That is a violation to FSM's policy. That's classified as advertising regardless.

Go ahead and ask the mods, send them  PM,maybe it's wrong, but what we say is just opinions.

Uh... yes. Read the FSM policy regarding posting advertising from outside Kalmbach realm. Posting contest falls under the advertising catagory.

If you have a channel, post the link in your signature line. If it's just a vid to sell something, I'd say that's a violation.

Same thing for a website or blog.

The replies that mention forum policies made me curious to see if those are available anywhere; it's good if we refer to this or that rule, that we can cite the source.

In the page footer of every page of the site is a link to the forum's "Terms of Use":

https://www.kalmbach.com/termsofuse/

The next-to-last section of the terms of use is "Forum Terms", and there's a bullet under that heading, specifically describing the policy on advertising.  That may help clarify the policy.

I second Steve's suggestion about putting your YouTube channel's URL in your forum signature; then it's prominently displayed.
