some of these collections are better than small lhs - no offence to any small lhs owners. No photo's of my stash, but about 130ish unfinished models - mainly 350th ships and heaps upon heaps of a/c 48ers.

The program I put together, 'Your Stash' went very well last night. About five club members took the time to share with the club. We were able to see a personal glimpse into this great hobby of ours. A very big ThankYou to everyone here who took the time to do this.

Here's my painting/storage area:





The kits represent about 3/4 of my comparatively small stash; the others are still at my parents house.

The pins placed in the top of the cabinet doors help secure a piece of shelf, which serves as a work area while painting (I thought I had a picture with the shelf in place, but I can't find it). The compressor can (or at least used to ) fit on the bottom shelf, but I've gotten lazy, so now it remains as shown. Building occurs on my dining table/desk (not shown).

Edit - well, I shrunk them down. Geocities apparently put me in a time-out for exceeding that limit; pictures will hopefully re-appear soon.

Is it true that the more space you have for kits, the more kits you get until they fill the available space? Isn't that one of Newton's Laws? Or is it Murphy?

I have to admit, the pic of my workbench was taken just after a desperately needed clean-up. It's a lot more cluttered right now.

I finally have a space big enough to sort out all my kits. I'm about 65-75% complete and just need to get some more shelf units. The silver metal ones you see in the photos were only $3.50 a piece at Wal-Mart. I've been searching for some more of them at local stores.

Thanks Anthony! Even just a pic of where you build. Who knows, we may see some good ideas as to how someone sets up their Dremel, or airbrush, or how they store tools, paint or whatever.

That is my dream room! LOL!!

My modelling area is a desk and my stash, well I don't have one, I build as I go....
