I wish I could post pictures of my stash. It is in several smaller piles throughout the house. One day I might actually get it all organized. Who makes the Su-24M in in your stash?

Hi kaleu,

The Fencer is the Dragon kit.
Italeri produces copies of it.
I've read that the kit isn't really accurate, so it will need some work to get it done acceptable. I'm goig to get the NeOmega cockpit set an Hi-Line decals.

Cheers,

Jürgen

Jürgen-when I was young, Revell was the kit to buy. Then they went bad-but Revell Germany is good and inexpensive-I recently finished a SPAD 13 of theirs. BTW-I sent you a pdf on dealing with clear parts-hope your mail server can handle it.

Haven't finished organizing my car & truck kits and some more sci-fi and helicopter kits are still boxed up as well. Probably about 75% of my collection.

We're getting ready to put the house on the market so lots of stuff is going to storage, first up were kits and aftermarket........the white boxes are all bagged kits, did you know you can get 30 1/48 Hase Me-109's in one of the little records boxes? The brown boxes are all aftermarket in drawer units with boxed kits as back fill......the dresser, file cabinet and chair box do not have models in them.....but that is a 10x10x12 storage unit and the boxes are to the ceiling.......I still have a dozen or so boxed kits and 25 resin ships at the house.

I've got a few: Tamiya 1A4, 2A5 & 2A6, Italeri 1A4 and II, plus most of the 1/72 scale Leopards, but not any particularly great collection of Leos in my stash.

You might be looking at the old Tamiya M1 kits. I have a few of those, I used to make my own M1A1s using modeling skills and the old kit.

I always enjoy when this type of thread pops up because I get to see Major Robs "hobby shop" again! What does your wife think of that (perhaps she has a bigger stash of something else taking up the rest of the house).

Rob, my tax dollars at work. Big Smile [:D] How long does it take you to box that collection, when you get transfered? You do take it with you, don't you?

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

Oh Boy......... When does our hobby move from being a harmless pastime to an obsession....... As I get older i am trying hard to cut back on the buying and actually cut some inroads into my stash.....Big ships and tall ships take a long time to finish but I did buy them with the intent of building not just as expensive insulation....Now down to 40 kits.....and one lonely Dambuster Lancaster because I used to live near their base.

No they don't.  but darn it Major Rob, I thought I had it bad.  Now I am feeling much more at ease looking at my own stash.  Khew.  I spy 5X Tamiya M1s and 3X DML T72M2s...

Normally, they pack them up into wardrobe boxes that stand about 4 feet tall. This was the first time ever that my stash has been almost totally unpacked and placed out in plain sight. I was amazed at what I had. A lot of stuff. I started donating items to my club's raffle for the regional show. I've donated some to the club to send to troops overseas, I've given some to guys online deparately looking for an elusive kit.

BTW, there are still guys online who see my stash and reply, "you call that a stash, you should see my collection." Funny, these "one up men" never seem to post photos of their mythical stashes that dwarf mine.

Here's mine. Mostly four tires and a steering wheel. There are a few tanks and ships off to the right side. I just added six more to it yesterday at the Cactus Classic swapmeet.
