Resolution/Choices (opinions needed)

I myself am a single guy with a low paying job but there is no way i would give up any of my kits . They have already been paid for and i could not replace some of them ( maybe for some inflated price). I have some since i was a kid still in the to do list , so their kind of like family! You might regret down the road getting rid of any of them! Good luck

You still got the PS2 games? Depending on the games I might be interested!

I have a stash not as encompasing as your own, but not small, a steady gf I hope to be a wife, school and work, amongst other things. I don't really understand why you'd want to get rid of it all. For what reason? YOu want to quit the hobby. You have them, just build them. You have enough there to last you for years.

haha, more like 10 to 15  years at least with my pace at work right now and I am preping for grad school as well, so there will be another 2 or 3 years of blank to slow period.  no way I am backing out of this hobby.  it's been with me more than half of my life so far and like most of the guys on this forum, it's pretty much my life style.  I still have over 100 F-1 and Motorcycle kits even without the armor kits, which is why it's that sad feeling you get sometimes when you stare at the stash and day-dream about that later months in later years that you will finally build it.  The one reason that will make me keep them is kinda like what Fantasycorsair said, I have always wanted these Tamiya kits as I grew up but of course never had THAT much allowance or earnings or time for building during school years to get them and those paints and tools. 

The only thing that's making me questioning my stash is the thoughts that maybe a modeler should not mix a wide variety of interests and a minor personal flaw, that I like to collect things.  Like here some people focuses on armors , some do aircrafts, others are devoted automotive builders, etc.  Sometimes they crossover to keep things interesting, but not to focus on everything at the same time.  I, as unfortunate as it is, love them all and want to build them all at the same time as well.  Any type of man made 20th century machines fascinates me.  Thus comes the F-1 cars, MotoGP bikes, tanks of any era, any country, steam locomotives, ...some aircrafts.  I am still kinda glad I mostly stayed away from those massive volume of 1/24, 1/25 car kits.

hmmm... off of my head, GT3, GT4, Splinter Cell 2, 3, Ace Combat 4, 5, Onimusha 1, 2, 3, Devil May Cry 1, 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, 3, Kill Zone, Madden 06, NHL 06, Grand Prix Championship (F-1), WRC, Soul Calibur 2(not for sale!), Final Fantasy X2, Robotech Battle Cry.  the buyer is making his picks also, but send me an email if you have any interests.  Hope this is not breaking forum rules eh...

Who cares what other people spend their money on.  Don't use that as a justification as to whether or not you should keep them.

The question you should ask yourself, is are you in need of the money?  I mean you've already spent the money, the kits are yours.  If you're not in financial need, you have adequate storage, then keep them.

Just because you're not interested in them now doesn't mean that you will not be interested in them 5, 10, 15 years down the road.  Interests change.  I would hang on to some of those armor kits just in case.  The money you get for them now won't help the feelings of regret you could experience years down the road.

Well, we can only help with advice and our opinion.
If with no one else, sit back, think hard and deep and be honest with yourself.

If you are not in desperate need of quick cash, why? You already know you will take a big loss, not a wise money venture.

Sounds to me like money isn't an issue.

If you were in my situation, unmarried with a ... girlfriend, working at a decent engineering job, already have a late 02 model year car, what would you do?

Sounds like you have a stable and secure life style. Now one must ask one self, how does your girlfriend feel towards your hobby? How many more years will the 02 car last? Will the job cover any unforseen expenses, such as another car, or will you need to sell the model collection?

(grrr.. you vultures who are after my kits stay away!  =P )

Not to worry, I build those 1:24 & 1:25 scale auto's.

I have an excel spread sheet made a while back like in November... Most of the kits on the To Go listings are already under possession...

You made a decision to sell them, now you are having second thoughts.
My guess is you already know the correct answer, you knew it all along.
