To the tune of thesong from "Peter Pan"

I won't grow up      I won't grow up

I dont' wanna get a job     I dont' wanna get a job

I don't wanna wear a tie     I don't wanna wear a tie

I don't wanna be a jerk     I don't wanna be a jerk

If growin' up means means I must be anything I don't wanna be

I won't grow up... won't grow u-u-P... not me... not ME... NOT ME!

(ok closet new wave music fans... what group sang that little ditty?)

Hi.  I just wanted to add that I, too, have flung that stuff at my wife and hung it from my nose.  I'm so ashamed!

The sheer vastness of the knowledge available through this forum never ceases to amaze me *goes back to pondering where to place his wad of, ummmm, bindery stuff*

"Bindery Snot", that's just too funny.  Who else has peeled that stuff off whatever it came on and actually used it as fake snot besides me?  You know, the fake sneeze, then stick it where it hangs off your nose, or fling it at your significant other?

It's known as Fugitive Glue AKA Bindery Snot (I kid you not!). There are two basic types: Oil based which requires heat; and Resin based which doesn't, but which is trickier to use as it takes longer to tack and may lose it's "grip" on heavier objects. The one used for things like credit cards is the hot or oil based version and requires a pretty expensive dispenser. You can buy the resin kind and a dispenser from Uline.com, which is still expensive!

Plain ordinary LePages Rubber Cement may work better for a modeler. It sure is a lot cheaper!! Be careful though, it's solvent based and the vapors can be pretty strong. Treat it like you would liquid cement and you'll be fine!

So long folks!

Help identifying some sticky “stuff”

I am trying to find out what this sticky stuff is.  Ever get one of those fake credit cards that is stuck to a piece of paper in the envelope?  I think it is also the same stuff that is used to hold magazine subscription labels to the cover.  It is kind of sticky and stretchy and it peels off in one piece.  Anyone have a clue what this stuff is and is there a tool, like a glue gun or something, that can be purchased to apply it?
